Windows Session Console Weather is an adware program that displays advertisements in your open web browser. It does this on a timer so that if an advertising campaign is available, it will display advertisements from this campaign at various intervals. The advertisements that have been seen displayed include ads for unwanted programs, surveys, or content sites.

Other than the intermittent advertisements that are displayed, there is no other outward indication that the program is running. One method that you can detect if this adware is installed is to check task manager for the wdscw.exe process or if the program is listed in the Uninstall Programs control panel.

It is important to note that this program is installed by other programs that did not adequately disclose that other software would be installed along with it.
