Yes, you can now run Windows on Big Sur

Parallels has introduced the latest edition of Parallels Desktop, its solution that lets you run Windows and Linux virtual machines on the Mac, including on macoS 11, Big Sur. There’s no news yet on Apple Silicon support, however.

The good companion

Apple used Parallels Desktop to run Linux on a Big Sur Mac when announcing the new operating system at WWDC online this year. A stray Dock icon suggested that Windows support – at least on Intel-based Macs – would follow. Now it has arrived, Parallels Desktop lets you run both Windows and Linux on your Mac.
