Google just added “read it later” bookmarking functionality to the latest version of Chrome for iOS. This appears to be an iOS-only function for now and is similar to Safari’s reading list feature that first rolled out with Mac OS X 10.7 Lion in 2011.

Like Safari’s Reading List, you hit the share button in Chrome and choose Read Later from the menu. Chrome will then save the page for you. To access your reading list, tap the menu button in the upper right corner (the three vertical dots) and select Reading List.
