Remove the amuleC PUP (Removal Guide)

The amuleC potentially unwanted program, or PUP, is a free peer-to-peer file sharing application for the EDonkey network. This program is a legitimate program that is available to download from the Internet under the name aMule, but is also distributed in adware bundles. This leads to it being installed on people's computers without their permission or knowledge of why it was installed.
It is currently unknown as to why adware distribution companies are installing amuleC onto people's computers, but if you did not install it intentionally, it is my opinion that you remove it from your computer. Uninstalling amuleC is fairly easy through the Windows Uninstall Programs control panel. Simply search for the amuleC entry and remove it.
If for some reason, the program is not able to removed through Windows, you can use the removal guide below to remove it for free using the suggested tool.
How did the amuleC PUP get on my computer?
It is important to note that the amuleC PUP is bundled with and installed by free programs that did not adequately disclose that other software would be installed along with it. Therefore, it is important that you pay close attention to license agreements and installation screens when installing anything off of the Internet. If an installation screen offers you Custom or Advanced installation options, it is a good idea to select these as they will typically disclose what other 3rd party software will also be installed. Furthermore, if the license agreement or installation screens state that they are going to install a toolbar or other unwanted adware, it is advised that you immediately cancel the install and not use the free software.
As already said, the amuleC program is a legitimate EDonkey P2P file sharing sharing program. If you have no use for this program or do not know how it was installed on your computer, I suggest that you remove it.
