MicroCopy Decryptor is a free decryption program created by Michael Gillespie for the Microcop Ransomware. Using this decryptor a victim of the MicroCop Ransomware can decrypt their files for free without having to pay the ransom. The MicroCop Ransomware will encrypt your files an add the Locked string to the beginning of your encrypted files. So a file called test.jpg would be encrypted as Locked.test.jpg. This tool will decrypt your files, but leave behind the existing Locked files. Once you confirm that the decrypted files are working properly, you can delete the encrypted versions.
